Although life has returned to normal for us, COVID-19 is still among us. Getting infected with COVID-19 can still cause serious illness, especially without vaccination.
The NHS in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight is offering COVID-19 Vaccine to vulnerable people from 13 April to 30 June. This is your chance to protect yourself and get free vaccine. Check if you are eligible below.

NHS COVID-19 vaccine eligibility
People aged 75 years and over
Residents in care homes
Adults and children (aged six months and over) with a weakened immune system
Examples of people with a weakened immune system:
Living with HIV
Who have received an organ, bone marrow, or stem cell transplant
Undergoing radiotherapy or chemotherapy
With genetic conditions affecting the immune system
Taking medications that suppress immune response

COVID-19 vaccine side effects
If you have previously experienced an allergic reaction, inform the healthcare team before receiving your vaccination.
Common side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine are typically mild and resolve within about a week. These may include:
Pain or soreness at the injection site
Fatigue
Headache
Muscle aches
Mild flu-like symptoms
