Come and visit new HIVE Portsmouth community helpdesks

With Healthwatch Portsmouth and our partners' efforts, two new HIVE Portsmouth Community Helpdesks just opened in early December.


In 2023, we gathered residents' feedback during guided conversations, in order to drive the purpose of reducing health inequalities in the city’s areas most affected.


Now, we are delighted to see our findings and plans have been put into place, and already there have been lots of people dropping in for free information, advice and guidance. Below are the information about the Helpdesks.


Paulsgrove Helpdesk (new)

📍 Paulsgrove Housing Office

Mondays: 10am – 2.30pm

Fridays: 12pm – 4pm

Helpline: call 02394 007118 during opening hours. Outside these times, contact their central helpdesk Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm, on 023 9400 7124.

Portsea Helpdesk (new)

📍 John Pounds Centre (Library Area)

Tuesdays: 10am – 2.30pm

Thursdays: 12.30pm – 5pm

Helpline: From Tuesday 2 December, call 02394 007119 during opening hours. Outside these times, contact their central helpdesk Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm, on 023 9400 7124.

Central Library Helpdesk

📍 Ground floor of Portsmouth Central Library

Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 4 pm

Helpline: available Monday to Friday from  9 am to 4 pm on 023 9400 7124.

These are startup locations; the team is working closely with residents and partners to establish a presence.
