The Community Falls Prevention programme offers exercises, advice and information to help you regain your confidence and mobility, to stay steady on your feet.
The group exercise class offers an opportunity to meet others who share a similar experience, while improving your strength and balance.
There are two groups, so you can attend one that best suits your individual goals. One runs once a week for 24 weeks, and the other runs twice a week for 12 weeks. Both run on a rolling programme, so that you can start as soon as a place becomes available.
The classes are held in various locations around the city.
There is no charge for this service.
You need to be referred by a health professional. Speak to your physiotherapist, nurse or GP.
