The LifeHouse is a Drop-in Centre and Soup Kitchen for people in homelessness and addiction.

Life House Drop-in

  • Wednesday and Thursday morning light breakfast and snack lunch from 9am - 11:30am
  • Saturday Morning cooked breakfast from 10am - 11.30am

The drop-in provides a secure environment for people in homelessness and addiction to spend time. Between breakfast and lunch there are group activities, a study or crafts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Saturday brunch is a cooked breakfast of sausage, bacon, egg, baked beans, toast, hash browns and tea of coffee.

Double Portion Soup Kitchen

  • Thursday evening home cooked style meal from 7pm - 8pm

Double Portion provides a home cooked style hot meal on Thursday Nights for anywhere between twenty five and forty homeless and vulnerable adults. Our volunteers sit and eat with the guests providing an opportunity to understand the situation they are living in, and over time build relationships so that we are able to help in the search for accommodation, medical services, benefits, counselling services, detoxes and rehabs.  We act as a signposting service to other agencies in the city.

Life House can also offer:

  • Food parcels
  • Clothes
  • Toiletries and provisions
  • Kitchen & voluntary work experience & training

Please get in touch if you can volunteer, or donate food, provisions or funds.
