Health and Care settings – vaccination as a condition of employment – public consultation

Vaccination as a condition of deployment in health and care settings The regulation was introduced for staff working in care homes on 11 November 2021. While the consultation is ongoing, the law requires the Care Quality Commission to regulate providers in a proportionate way to ensure that they follow the regulations as they currently stand. COVID Vaccination Centre at St James’ Hospital for Walk-ins and Appointments – new opening days

From 7th February 2022 The COVID vaccination centre St James’ Hospital will be open  8am – 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays  and Sundays, Walk-ins and appointments are available at St James for the following types of COVID vaccinations: First and second (after 12 weeks of first dose) vaccinations for young people aged 12 – 15, 16 – 17 First and second (after 8 weeks of the first dose) vaccinations for people aged 18 and over Booster vaccinations (after 3 months of their second vaccination) to people aged over 16 A Third dose and Booster dose (4th dose) for people who are immunocompromised.
