Support for Victims of Domestic Abuse – Boots Pharmacies Offer ‘Safe Space’

A scheme has been launched this week in 2400 of Boots The Chemist branches across the UK to offer victims of domestic abuse a safe space using the branch's consultation rooms.  Staff have been given information on recognising the signs of domestic abuse.  Key workers in pharmacies are considered to hold a unique position within the community as a single point of contact for victims.
