Healthwatch wins national award for engagement work

Healthwatch has just won a national award!!!  Its digital campaign #WhatWouldYouDo? won where local Healthwatches reached out to the public and patients online to find out views on how the NHS Long Term Plan could best be delivered locally.  GranicusUK awarded Healthwatch England the prestigious title at the 2020 Granicus Public Sector Digital Awards 'Campaign of the year' ceremony. QA Hospital : Care Quality Commission Inspection Report – out today – Overall Rating ‘Good’

The Care Quality Commission's Report of the Inspection that they carried out in October 2019 has been published today, 4 out of 5 categories were rated as 'Good'. Access to back gate of St James’s Hospital – announcement from NHS Property Services

Further to the problems that people have reported recently on access to the rear of St James' Hospital we have received the following notice via Solent NHS that NHS Property Services issued last week: Access to St. James Hospital site There have been a series of significant attempts to remove lead from buildings on the St. James site in recent days. Parent of a disabled child or children facing barriers to access physical activity?

Sense and the ukactive Research Institute are working together to find out how families with a child with complex disabilities take part in physical activity.  Sense and UK active Research Institute want to know what motivates but what challenges families with disabled children face when accessing sport and physical activity. An online survey is open until Sunday 15th March. After the responses have been analysed Sense will establish a national activity programme for disabled children and evaluate the impact of it on the child and the wider family. Autism Hampshire Drop-in event 15th January
