Take part in Southern Health workshops to determine the future of mental health services in Portsmouth

We have been approached by Southern Health Foundation Trust to raise awareness across the city of a series of workshops that they are running in April and May which will be looking at transforming city-wide mental health services. The Trust is inviting patients, carers, family members, clinicians and local organisations to attend (or send a representative to) a series of workshops in April and May as detailed in this letter from Southern Health. 14 million patients now use GP online services

Almost 14 million people across England use online facilities offered by their GPs to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view their records – saving time for themselves and busy GP practices. Eastney Practice and the Trafalgar Medical Group to merge

We have been informed by Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group that the merger of the Eastney Practice and the Trafalgar Medical Group has been approved and will go ahead. Check your online GP is CQC registered to ensure quality service

Healthwatch Portsmouth would like to update you on new ways of accessing GP services, we have some information below which we hope will be of use. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has warned users of online GP services to check that they are registered, regulated by the CQC (or its equivalent in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland) and UK based. It has advised patients to look up the service's latest CQC rating to ensure that they get quality healthcare. Healthwatch Portsmouth Board meetings 2018

Healthwatch Portsmouth Board meetings take place six times a year - in 2018 they are scheduled for the following dates.
