The contract for the NHS service provided at Guildhall Walk Healthcare Centre runs out in March 2016. This means the NHS must decide whether to continue these services in the same way or make changes as to what and where services are provided in the future.

One proposal is to relocate the ‘walk-in’ service at Guildhall Walk to the St Mary’s Treatment Centre, in the Fratton area of the city, to bring all Portsmouth… walk-in services together in one location.

Walk-in centres are one way the NHS provides urgent care. There is also the NHS 111 phoneline, ‘same day’ appointments at GP surgeries, accident and emergency departments and pharmacists.

Healthwatch Portsmouth, as an independent consumer champion, is undertaking an evaluation of the proposal by independently collecting views of residents to share with the NHS to help inform the decisions to be taken.

This survey is part of that evaluation and we would be grateful if you could spend a few moments to complete it. Please click here to follow through to it.

Many thanks
