Love4Life is a friendship and dating project for people with learning disabilities and autism. We organise workshops and social events that help you make friends and build relationships in a relaxed atmosphere.
We are dedicated to providing life-changing opportunities for people with autism and learning disabilities to develop and sustain friendships and relationships. We have had many successful matches.
Events to look forward to include: bowling, night club outings, karaoke nights, movie nights, pamper days, parties and proms, picnics and restaurants, shopping trips, sports, theatre trips, and music festivals.
Love4Life members have the opportunity to meet other members at organised group events. This gives a great chance to get to know people and potentially meet someone that they might like to date. If two members decide that they would like to go on a date, we provide a trained chaperone for up to three dates in order to ensure a safe dating experience.
One-to-one dates are arranged at a time and location convenient to both dates. We always try to keep the journey time to a minimum.
Membership costs £10 a month, this includes:
- Up to 25 social events a month (these may include additional costs)
- Free workshops including What is a good friend? What is dating? How do I date? What is a good relationship? Sex education, Money management, Mate/Hate Crime, Healthy eating (nutrition information), Wellbeing, Good conversations
