Make started in Southsea's Albert Road in 2013, and later moved to Fratton to team up with the Craft Kitchen. In 2017 the enterprise was taken over by the Aldingbourne Trust, a local charity that aims to support people with learning disabilities to reach their potential.

The social enterprise at Make supports people with a learning disability to develop skills within catering, retail and creative projects, which will enable people to lead independent lives and gain employment within the community.

Make is open 6 days a week, 9.30am - 4.30pm for:

  • Workshops
  • Children's parties
  • Afternoon cream teas
  • Studio & art space for hire
  • A variety of local traders selling bespoke crafts
  • "Artisan" - Lily and Lime
  • Ethel 1-1 Sewing workshops
  • Freya Perry - resident artist
  • Sandra & Linda - Dress making & alterations

Join A Slice of Make every Wednesday from 5.30pm - 9pm

Get crafty and meet like-minded people. Bring your own craft and grab a cuppa and slice of cake. A great social evening!
